Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Christian Religious Education teachers’ personalities on the moral development of students at SD Negeri 095197 Hutabayu Raja. A qualitative research method was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation and interviews with 12 students. The findings indicate that teachers’ personalities, including exemplary behavior, patience, and responsibility, significantly impact students’ character. Supporting factors such as the school environment and parental involvement strengthen moral formation, whereas inhibiting factors like social media influence can hinder moral value internalization. This study provides valuable insights for the education sector in enhancing teachers’ roles as role models in shaping students’ character.


 

Contribution: This study provides insight into the importance of teachers' personalities in Christian Religious Education in shaping students' morals. The findings can serve as a foundation for schools and educators to design more effective teaching strategies for instilling moral values.


 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepribadian guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap pembentukan akhlak peserta didik di SD Negeri 095197 Hutabayu Raja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap 12 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian guru yang mencerminkan keteladanan, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap karakter siswa. Faktor pendukung seperti lingkungan sekolah dan keterlibatan orang tua turut memperkuat pembentukan akhlak, sementara faktor penghambat seperti pengaruh media sosial dapat melemahkan internalisasi nilai-nilai moral. Studi ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi dunia pendidikan dalam meningkatkan peran guru sebagai teladan dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik.


 


Kontribusi: Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya kepribadian guru dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam membentuk akhlak peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi sekolah dan pendidik dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moral.
