About Journal

The Indonesian Journal of Services (e-ISSN: 3090-3785) is a biannual, multidisciplinary scientific journal published by Indonesia Press, under the Department of Research and Community Services at Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Indonesia (STTI) and the Indonesia Christians Theologian Association (PTAKI). It addresses national-level issues related to community services, covering a wide range of common challenges. The journal aims to share conceptual ideas and research findings in the field of community services. It features various activities conducted by STTI faculty and other university staff in addressing societal potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems. These service activities involve community and partner participation, with the goal of enhancing societal welfare. Articles are published in May and November each year. Authors interested in submitting their work may do so in either English or Bahasa Indonesia.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes two issues per year in May and November Vol. 1, No. 1, as first issue, was published on May 2025. This type of schedule was based on the academic calendar that started around July and thus effected financial budgeting of the journal. This type of schedule was commonly used by many journals at the time. This numbering in journal schedule is considered better choice to ensure the common system currently applied by most journals in Indonesia.

Although the issue of the journal is scheduled on April and October, publication of articles can be based on continuous publication started from May 2025. This indicates that as soon as an article is ready to be published, it will be promptly released online rather than waiting for other articles in the issue to be completed. As a result, readers will have quicker access to the article's final edition.
