Focus

The Indonesian Journal of Religious Studies (IJR) is dedicated to advancing theological scholarship, interfaith dialogue, and religious education through the exploration of religious traditions and their relevance in contemporary social, political, cultural, and educational contexts. The journal aims to bridge the gap between traditional theological doctrines and the practical implications of religion in modern society, with a focus on how religious teachings contribute to social justice, peacebuilding, and ethical decision-making. IJR encourages a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates historical, sociological, and philosophical perspectives to explore the role of religion in shaping both personal and societal values. Additionally, IJR emphasizes the significance of religious education in fostering tolerance, interfaith understanding, and moral responsibility in diverse societal settings.
